**About the role**

Selleys is a leading manufacturer and supplier of adhesives, sealants, fillers and general home maintenance products. Technical innovation is at the heart of our success. We invent and manufacture our globally recognised products in Sydney with a world-class team of chemists.

Reporting to the Global Head of R&D, your key objective will be to work with stakeholders to deliver impactful product solutions that are commercially and operationally viable. Your team will be responsible for the development and formulation of innovative new products from laboratory/pilot scale development batches through to the scale-up of bulk production formulation process. You’ll develop strategies to accelerate innovation; supporting our existing product portfolio and meet our sustainability and regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead our Formulation team to deliver on-time innovation and operational projects.
- Work closely with marketing and procurement to commercialise new and compliant formulations and technologies in accordance with the Selleys NPD plan. Adherence to timelines and effective communication of risks and challenges is critical.
- Developing strong technical, statistical and formulation science capabilities within the team.
- Work closely with supply chain and production sites to ensure our products consistently meet end user performance and quality.

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification with major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent material sciences related study
- Previous industrial experience in the Sealants & Adhesives, Coatings, or related industry
- Proven track record of successful new product development.
- Experience in fostering new and existing internal and external technology partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate others toward clear objectives.
- A collaborative work style that reaches across organizational boundaries.
- Outstanding influencing and communication skills (both written and verbal) with a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
