We’re an ASX listed company with more than 800 branches and 9,000 employees across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. We are growing all the time, and we need an experienced Safety Advisor to join our Distribution Centre (DC) team, and help us to maintain our safety first work culture.
We’re proud to support our customers who provide essential services to keep the community safe, healthy and well. Whether that’s keeping the water running, the heating and cooling on, maintaining refrigeration or supporting our infrastructure.
**About the Role**
You’ll work closely with our Distribution Centre leaders, helping us create and maintain safe working environments by providing safety leadership, guidance and technical support to reduce critical risks and workplace injuries. This is an important role that will integrate practical and effective safety initiatives to promote safe workplace behaviours.
In this role you will split your time between our Padstow and Pemulwuy Distribution Centres.
Responsibilities include (and are not limited to):

- Coordinate and deliver critical safety training and induction
- Provide technical input to DC Leads and other operations leaders on safety planning, safety risk management and management review processes e.g., Chain of Responsibility, Dangerous Goods, emergency preparedness and response.
- Lead, participate and support in the investigation of any workplace incident, near miss or injuries to ensure causal factors are identified, and preventive actions taken and implemented.
**About you**
- You’ll have demonstrated safety experience working within supply chain, logistics and/or FMCG.
- Excellent working knowledge and awareness of Work Health and Safety Legislation.
- Excellent working knowledge of safety legislation including WHS, HVNL (CoR) along with industry standards and management system standards (ISO45001, ISO45003 & ISO14001) highly desirable.
- Cert IV in OHS (minimum) and ICAM Investigation Training (or equivalent)
- Experience participating in internal audits and reporting outcomes.
- Experience building relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders, along with solid communication and presenting skills.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
This role provides the opportunity to make a positive, long-term impact within Reece Group. You will be joining a friendly, supportive and collaborative team and be provided with broad exposure to a business in which you can genuinely make an impact.
