**The Opportunity**

We are working with a leading Melbourne not for profit that is undertaking a major digital transformation program and assisting the team on their agile uplift journey. We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong automation skills to lead the testing efforts for our client.

As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end testing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create test strategies, design and execute test plans, and leverage automation tools to increase testing efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

- Define and implement the overall test strategy and approach for projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify test objectives and success criteria
- Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to ensure maximum test coverage
- Design and execute manual and automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools
- Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and best practices
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and retesting of fixes
- Manage and monitor test environments, test data, and test infrastructure
- Report on testing progress, quality metrics, and test coverage to stakeholders
- Implement and maintain test management tools for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as a Test Manager
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Agile
- Proficiency in creating test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Experience in designing and executing manual and automated test scripts
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- ISTQB or similar certification in software testing highly regarded
