Job Details:
- *This is an expression of interest only vacancy*- Job Summary: Responsible and accountable for the management of the test team working on customer projects. Working in conjunction with Project Managers, is expected to understand all deliverables of the project, ensuring that these deliverables have been identified as tasks in the P6 Project Plan, and that these tasks have been correctly resourced with Test personnel and equipment.
This role is responsible and accountable for ensuring that all test personnel are competent, and that they are provided with the appropriate training to be successful within the projects they are assigned to. Incumbents of this position will also support all personnel to ensure that they and the projects are successful and ensure that each resource understands the tasks they have been assigned to, and that tasks have been successfully completed and timescales are met. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.- Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and oversee the work of the test team and ensure alignment with developed test procedures
- Develop, manage, implement and update plans with the relevant Test management to ensure correct resource levels
- Prepare, update and implement test plans
- Coordinate and oversee the work of the test team, collating results and reporting defects
- Manage the quality of work being produced by the test team
- Ensure that ARQ reviews are conducted regularly
- Maintain configuration control for all test systems within the projects
- Prepare detailed functional test specifications for both device and system tests
- Conduct tests both in house and in the presence of the customer
- To prepare and issue test reports
- Maintain the highest level of understanding of relevant Project(s) (e.g. Deliverables, Milestones, Requirements, etc.)
- Perform all line management tasks in the management of the test team (e.g. talent management tasks including but not limited to recruitment, performance management and training needs)
- Provide training to the test team on the use of tools and test methodology by setting up effective training plans

- Minimum Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering, information technology or technical discipline essential
- Minimum eight years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant experience in managing test teams, automation testing products and automated test scripting (user operations, testing, and design) using industry frameworks
- Previous leadership experience desired
- Must possess familiarity and understanding of the company technologies and general industry processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office toolset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
