We are a growing demolition/excavation subcontractor located in Wetherill Park and we are looking to introduce a Payroll/Accounts Officer to our team. We deliver high-quality projects throughout Sydney within the Construction industry.

The Role:
**Responsibilities**:

- Weekly review of timesheets
- Preparation of weekly payroll for management to review.
- Update new employee details onto our accounting package MYOB.
- Approval of labour hire timesheets and checking accuracy of subcontractor/labour hire invoices.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve any arising issues.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly invoices.
- Prepare Staff Reimbursement claims when necessary.
- Prepare, maintain, and record financial information, such as invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, for reporting purposes.
- Business Administration and Compliance

**Skills**:

- At least one year of experience in the accounting/bookkeeping field.
- Proven work experience as a Payroll/Accounts Officer or similar role.
- Sound knowledge of business and financial principles and practices.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a team as well as individually.
- Experience with Accounting software MYOB
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to prioritise important tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: Up to $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- WETHERILL PARK, NSW 2164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
