Artisan Group are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeepr to Join our team on a casual/part-time basis ( approx hours per week) . This role would suit someone with strong knowledge of accounting , excellent attention to detail , and a proactive approach to managing financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, across multiple entities
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparation and lodgment of BAS, IAS and payroll obligations( including multi state payroll tax, STP and worker's compensation requirements)
  • Completion of Month-end reporting
  • Maintain accurate records in MYOB and Excel spreadsheets for multiple entities as required
  • Liaise with external accountants and stakeholders as required

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Proficient in MYOB Accountright
  • Extensive understanding of GST, payroll, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive background in Microsoft office particularly excel
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
