This role sits within the Customer, Delivery and Transformation Division in the Customer, Data and Insights Branch

**About the team**

A key responsibility for the Directorate includes facilitating streamlined and secure access to linked data via the NSW Data Passport platform. The Directorate also supports the capability of the sector to use data via the NSW Capability Hub, the NSW Open Data Portal, Web Analytics Platform, Metadata.NSW and Enterprise Data Catalogue. The Directorate leads the development of new and streamlined models of data operations and governance.

**Your day-to-day**
- ** **Support product leads of, for example, the Data Passport Portal platform, NSW Capability Hub, NSW Open Data Portal, Web Analytics Platform, Metadata.NSW and Enterprise Data Catalogue including in the day-to-day site maintenance, providing detailed reporting on performance or function issues to the contracted SaaS provider.
- Assist with site user testing, product development and user experience design for the purposes of making access to linked data easier, faster and safer while aligning to the ABS Five Safes Framework, as well as policies and guidelines from our data partners.
- Support product leads in procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and systems acquisition, ensuring alignment with product goals and budgetary constraints.
- Support presentations on the function and benefits of products, including for the NSW Data Passport platform, NSW Capability Hub, the NSW Open Data Portal, Web Analytics Platform, Metadata.NSW and Enterprise Data Catalogue, to stakeholders via linked data product roadshows to increase awareness and engagement.
- Contribute administrative services to help maintain detailed project related documentation, including usage reports, product user guides, risk management registers, and procedural instructions.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- ** **Some understanding of the underlying technical infrastructure and relevant governance requirements that enable the discovery, creation and use of human services linked data across NSW Government.
- Knowledge of project management principles, digital product delivery, personal information controls, including data retention policies, user access management, security logging, and information security classification and sensitive labelling.
- Experience with Agile methodology, with the ability to adapt, collaborate, and deliver in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in working with SaaS platforms for user-centred design and journey mapping is desirable.
- Proactive problem-solving and stakeholder negotiation skills with a solutions-focused mindset to ensure easier and safer availability and access to linked data for insights.
- Sound time management skills with the ability to multi-task to competing deadlines, work independently and to support the wider team where necessary.
- Knowledge and experience of the Aristotle Tablion Portal, Drupal, CKAN, Google Analytics, Articulate 360, JIRA, and Zendesk is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint) is a must.

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $93295 base plus superannuation
