The Workforce Planning Advisor is a key member of the Workforce Strategy and Reform team. The Workforce Strategy and Reform team has overall responsibility for the development of a long-term whole of health workforce strategy and lead multi-disciplinary workforce projects in new areas.

We are looking for an experienced Workforce Planning Advisor to assist with the development of the 10 year Victorian Health Workforce Strategy.

**Key functions include**:

- Development of an in-depth workforce strategy that informs a strategic program of work,
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to identify sources of workload demand, resource capacity and to collate this information in a reportable format to provide useful operational insights and mitigation options
- Prepare and present data driven models outlining all resource requirements and develop a comprehensive picture of where gaps exist between forecast demand and resource capacity
- Strategic workforce thinking and practice around capability and skill development
- Experienced in developing and maintaining workforce plans in complex businesses?
- An effective communicator able to develop strong, productive partnerships and engage key stakeholders?
- Able to transform data findings into recommendations to compose reports and executive level presentations?
