Ambulance Victoria's (AV) mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services.
AV is seeking an experienced Advisor Workforce Planning to develop and implement enhancements to workforce capacity and capability.
This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Doncaster.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Lead Workforce Planning, the responsibilities of the Advisor Workforce Planning include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development, delivery and review of strategic workforce plans across Ambulance Victoria
- Develop and deliver projects using the AV Project Management Framework and associated templates and procedures, to meet desired time, budget, compliance, and quality objectives
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a range of projects and activities that support workforce planning objectives, including attraction, retention, capacity, and capability improvement plans
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Workforce Planning team and stakeholders across all divisions of Ambulance Victoria to prioritise and drive the project deliverables and outcomes
- Use workforce planning outputs to identify and diagnose complex workforce issues and areas of focus and develop proactive initiatives to mitigate issues as a response to changes in service delivery needs, and changes in labour market supply and demand
**ABOUT YOU**
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- A degree (preferably Human Resources or Business) or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise, sound decision-making, meet deadlines, and manage resources
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively
- Highly developed negotiation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gain acceptance and build effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in the formulation of policies, proposal development, and change management.

This position is graded an **AV4** for which the salary range is **$97,609 - $122,156 **pa plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade.
