Who are we you ask?

HYPOP is a Sydney-based (Alexandria) online retailer of photography equipment. We offer complete lighting, video and studio solutions to a range of corporate, business, education, government and end user customers including social media influencers. We also have an in-house brand SPECTRUM which is catered for entry to mid-level users stocking photography lighting and back drops.

The job?

We are currently on the hunt for a talented Online/Ecommerce Coordinator who will manage the day-to-day content of the Hypop website, eBay, Amazon, Catch, Kogan, MyDeal and our sister sites: Hypop Studio, Gariz Australia and Spectrum. Someone who can deal with challenging situations, and is comfortable working in a young, fun small team which also includes our dog Kenji (Shiba Inu), as well as someone who first and foremost has a keen interest for the photography industry, our brand and our customers. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager, Online Freelancers and Directors.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for managing the Shopify store and omni-channels
- Ensure a consistent look and feel across the website ranging from - promoting uniformity fonts, product descriptions, product set up across multiple platforms, front end navigation, blog, and layout.
- Manage and maintain the site; upload new product; edit and revise product info and images as needed, takedown/move discontinued items.
- Ensuring product and prices are always accurate
- Ensure all categories and pages are merchandised and displayed in the best order to maximise customer engagement and conversion
- Create and populate collections and consistent with merchandising and marketing activities
- Manage customer journey and user experience
- Copyrighting and assisting with product descriptions
- Assist in the proofing and uploading of content and images for Shopify
- Report on content performance and be involved in improvements
- Uploading product images and image description
- Work with the marketing team helping set up sales and products across all platforms used for selling (Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, eBay, etc)
- Update, verify and assign product attributes (Sizes, pricing, colour, collections, SEO, barcode, google attributes etc.)
- Ensure that product information and branding on the website and omni-channels such as eBay and Amazon are consistent with each other.
- Collaborate with team members to execute product releases, major sales, warehouse fulfilment
- Managing demo and sample stock ensuring it’s organised on the shelf and uploaded on online
- Ensuring that best proactive SEO is utilised
- Daily monitoring and optimisation of search terms and product presented is relevant to customers with stock to drive incremental sales
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and content team to develop all website creative briefs
