**The Role**:
CDC NSW has an exciting Head Driver Trainer opportunity to lead our Driver Trainers team and will be based out of Seven Hils depot. This role will act as a mentor for existing Driver Trainers and train new Driver Mentors and Trainers. This role will also manage relationship between external training partners and CDC NSW to assist in licence upgrade and Traineeship Programs.

These responsibilities will be in addition to the existing responsibilities for a Driver trainer and will continue to deliver driver training as part of this role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- ** **Upskilling of new Driver Mentors and new Driver Trainers.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Driving Regulations to ensure that Driver Trainers are provided up-to-date information relating to on-road instruction.
- Provide on-road training and mentoring for our Driver Trainers, ensuring on road training is being delivered to CDC standards.
- Oversee the coordination of Driver Trainers in booking portal, to ensure trainers are being allocated efficiently.
- Oversee licence upgrade program facilitated by CDC Driver Trainers.
- Manage BAU relationship with external training partners in regard to the traineeship program.

**About You**:

- Current MR licence, NSW Bus Drivers Authority and NSW Working with Children Clearance
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40110) highly desirable
- Previous experience in training and/or mentoring
- Resilient and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills.
