HC Driver / Sideloader Operator

Location: Para Hills West, South Australia

Central Shipping Containers is a privately owned company, servicing small, medium, and large enterprises across Australia. Our head office and main depot are based in South Australia.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HC Truck Driver / Sideloader Operator to join our Para Hills West depot. This role is primarily local South Australian work, with only occasional trips to Melbourne required.

When not on the road, the successful candidate will also assist with forklift operations and general yard duties to support the smooth running of the depot.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Current HC licence
  • Proven Sideloader experience
  • Forklift licence and experience with safe yard operations
  • LCL – Container and multi-drop experience
  • Load restraint knowledge
  • Must hold a MSIC and Flinders Ports Card or be eligible and willing to obtain
  • Good knowledge of Adelaide metropolitan and regional areas
  • Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to use mobile data devices (smartphone for Proof of Delivery)
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices

  • Willingness to undertake:

  • Pre-employment medical including drug test

  • Police checks
  • Licence history report
