**A day in the life of a BI, Analytics & Reporting Lead**

The key focus of this role is to ensure investment in BI, analytics and reporting to suit the current and future needs for the business.

You will drive analytics self-service reporting through collaborating with internal sponsors, business user and technical support functions. This is one of the biggest focus areas over the next 5 years.

**Key responsibilities**
- Create a strategic roadmap and program of work.
- Create value and drive adoption from Analytics and reporting solutions.
- Act as internal SME and owner for the Analytics and Reporting platforms.
- Technical and thought leaderships.

**Desired Experience to succeed in the role**
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in either IT/Computer Science/Technology or related discipline.
- 10 + years delivering value in an Analytics leadership or BI role is essential.
- Strong understanding of information management best practice and software life development cycle (SDLC).
- Experience creating/developing and implementing information strategy.
- Advanced ability to identify and resolve technical problems.
- Experience mentoring users in the use of BI and Analytics solutions.
- Working in the energy or utilities sector would be high advantageous.
- Sound commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
- Ability to se technical direction and provide decision support.
- Relevant professional qualifications in BI or Analytics or certifications are highly desirable.
- Someone who understands the balance between technology and pragmatism.
