Talent Insights are currently working with a Retail based company who are on the look out for a new BI and Analytics Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a client that uses Data and Insights as the main driver for Decision making. You will get to work in a Dynamic and Fast Paced work environment, with a flexible and modern tech stack, where you will be surrounded by high calibre people who really know data.

In this position you will play a key role in supporting the Data infrastructure and contribute to the development and overall delivery of the organisations Data strategy. You will help uncover trends and analyse the data to then generate insights.

Furthermore, you will gather business requirements, translate them to technical concepts and then work cross functionally with other teams to help deliver data driven solutions and then present those findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.

**What the client is looking for**:

- Understanding of Data governance, quality management and best practices
- Data visualisation, reporting, dashboard design, data analysis
- Translating business requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Retail metrics (desirable)

**Technical skills**:

- SQL Server
- Qlik Sense
- SSAS and OLAP
- ETL, Data cleansing, Data discovery
- Azure Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Data factory (desirable)
- Experience in SQL data warehouse and SQL queries
