Our client is seeking to engage an
**Events Officer **on a temporary basis, Full Time Position.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage event contractors to ensure that all required event components are delivered efficiently and effectively
- Deliver events, festivals, and programs on time and on budget
- Identify, obtain, and maximise sponsorship and funding for events
- Ensure that thorough consultation and evaluation informs the review and development of events, programs, and strategies

**Requirements**:

- Experience in contract management
- Experience in stakeholder engagement with excellent interpersonal, public relations and facilitation skills
- Experience in event development, delivery, management and evaluation
- Ability to prioritise work, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Event Management **OR** a relevant field** OR **relevant experience in place of a qualification
