**Your new company**

A local government department is looking to engage events officer with experience in contract management for a 3-Month contract.

**Your new role**
- Manage event contractors to ensure that all required event components are delivered efficiently and effectively
- Deliver City events, festivals and programs on time and on budget
- Identify, obtain and maximise sponsorship and funding for City events
- Ensure that thorough consultation and evaluation informs the review and development of City events, programs and strategies

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Sound experience in event development and management
- Sound experience in contract management
- Sound experience in stakeholder engagement
- Sound experience in project, program and event evaluation
- Sound experience in identifying, preparing and acquitting funding submissions
- Sound project management skills including research, planning and evaluation
- Excellent interpersonal, public relations and facilitation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
- Ability to prioritise work, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or a relevant field
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
