We are seeking an Events Officer to support the planning, development, operations, and delivery of the City’s events to enhance liveability and to achieve the City’s vision to be the events heart of WA.
Reporting to the Coordinator Events, this position will support the City by:
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating events aligned with the City’s Events Strategy
- Managing infrastructure, production, and programming for the City’s events adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and City policies and procedures
- Preparing tender specifications and event documentation relating to event operations and programming, including Event Risk Management and Evacuation Plans
- Managing and monitoring operational budgets for City events to ensure projects, programs, and services operate within budgets adopted by Council
You will have demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of large-scale events and the ability to manage multiple event projects and prioritise workload in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
In this role, you will liaise and consult with stakeholders including City staff, community members, suppliers, contractors, and other agencies to deliver and promote events.
