Our client a global leader in cutting-edge technology seeks a multi-talented Technical Sales Manager to join their Sales Team based in Notting Hill.

The Technical Sales Manager role will focus on Account Management, Tender response, and Business Development. It requires a dynamic and driven individual to ensure customers both existing and new receive outstanding service. The company will also require the successful incumbent to travel to the Head office in Europe for training and networking purposes.

You will have excellent technical skills, well developed sales strategies and be a great communicator.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Business development to generate new sales opportunities, along with developing the existing client base to grow sales
- Market research and analysis of sales trends to ensure the business is competitive in the market
- Travel Interstate & to NZ - to drive sales and product growth
- Project delivery and coordination of the end-to-end sales process
- Coordinate tenders and negotiations - ensuring closing on contracts within targets for revenue and margins
- Project Management - develop and implement sales strategies plans for each account or transaction

**To be successful in this role**:

- A proven career history in Technical Sales and Marketing ideally with a mechanical electronics/engineering background
- Innovative team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel and attend trade shows
- Experience managing and utilizing CRM along with process improvement initiative

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience as Sales Specialist or Sales Project Manager
- Solid educational background within a relevant business, marketing/engineering degree ideal
- Excellent business development, technical and sales skills
- Strong attention to detail and proven time management skills
- Motivation and willingness to go the "extra mile" to achieve the best result
- Proven strategic sales capabilities
- Ability to collaborate and work with a diverse range of contacts
