We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team to help drive our success forward whilst we provide the opportunity for career growth in the wider business group.

Your Role:

As our Technical Sales Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our sales and project delivery, working closely with our engineers to secure and deliver projects seamlessly. Your technical know-how and relationship-building skills will ensure our clients receive outstanding support from initial inquiry to installation.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, specifiers, and resellers
  • Provide expert technical advice on acoustic doors, seals, and compliance standards
  • Prepare accurate quotes, identify upselling opportunities, and protect margins
  • Manage projects from order to delivery, coordinating with suppliers, freight, and site teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery
  • Proactively handle procurement, freight logistics, and supplier performance
  • Support resellers and clients, resolving issues swiftly to ensure project success
  • Maintain and report on accurate sales pipeline

About You:

You will be an enthusiastic and curious Salesperson with a proven technical background and the ability to communicate effectively between clients and technical production teams.  You will have excellent listening skills, a friendly and trustworthy nature, have an eye for detail and be goal-orientated in order to achieve sales targets.  Most importantly, you will be a flexible problem-solver with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Specifically, you will have:

  • 4-5 years+ proven success in technical sales, preferably within acoustic products or engineering and knowledge of acoustic performance standards or building compliance
  • the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, translate these into engineering requirements and articulate solutions to all stakeholders
  • exhibit strong commercial skills in quoting, cost control, and margin management
  • experience managing freight, supplier relationships, and client escalations
  • a Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma would be advantageous
