**About the Role**

You will be managing the Event Service operation as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest/member satisfaction in consistent with Hyatt standards.

You will inspire and your team to provide personalized memorable experiences for our guests, through a supportive and inclusive leadership style.

This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your professional Food & Beverage career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Leading the day to day operation of the Event Service team including the efficient running of events and conferences
- Liaising with other departments on daily operation and events
- Assist in effective payroll control through a flexible work force, maximizing utilization of part time employees and close cooperation with other Food & Beverage outlets
- Assist in the revision and updating of the Outlet Departmental Operations Manual on an as needed basis.
- Establish rapport with guests by promptly responding to their needs and preferences in an appropriate manner.
- Through Hyatt’s supporting and inclusive leadership style, create a workforce that sees the recruitment, development and retention of Hyatt’s future talent

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant experience in a busy five star hotels Event Service department is preferred
- Proven experience in leading and developing others
- Ideally a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management
