About the role

As an Assistant Manager at Fordham, you will:

- Assist Partners with business performance, corporate advisory, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements
- Manage end to end a designated client list, managing the initial scope of clients’ requirements
- Set budgets and delivery timelines, and manage fees and requirements that fall outside of scope
- Supervise and coach, and delegate work to your team
- Review financial statements and tax returns. This role in particular has a focus on Native Title and not-for-profit entities

About you
- Bachelor’s degree, and have completed CA/CPA studies
- Approximately 6+ years’ experience in an Australian Chartered or CPA accounting firm
- Experience in managing client relationships, and leading complex and diverse engagements
- Thorough understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT and self-managed superannuation funds
- Experience in managing and coaching staff, and managing workflow to staff
