Looking for a new challenge in the field of accounting? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy and dynamic team. With a high volume workload and a range of responsibilities, this role offers the chance to build your skills and knowledge in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Position: Accounts Officer - Accounts Payable (AP)

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and timely processing of invoices
- Ensuring all invoices are paid within the required terms
- Reconciliation of accounts and resolving invoice queries
- Correct coding and allocations to various cost centers
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
- Maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors, and respond to inquiries
- Produce financial and management reports as required
- Following up of missing invoices
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working in a high volume Accounts Payable environment
- Competency in processing invoices accurately and timely
- Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve invoice queries
- Knowledge of correct coding and allocation to cost centers
- Experience in electronic transfers and payments
- Familiarity with journals, ledgers, and other records
- Ability to maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
