Your new role

As the Accounts Officer - Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for coding and entering invoices into the TechnologyOne finance system and processing payments via EFT and BPay. You will ensure all invoices are properly authorised, reconcile payments for major suppliers, and manage statistical data for office equipment. Your duties will also include monthly bank reconciliations across various entities, preparation of GST and BAS statements, ABS reporting, international cash transfers, petty cash administration, and archiving financial records. You will support the finance team with procedural updates and provide guidance on system changes.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and financial reconciliation
  • Familiarity with TechnologyOne or similar finance systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across diverse entities
  • Knowledge of GST, BAS, and ABS reporting requirements
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and documentation
