
Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Manager for the development of project and customer specific modular steel and pipe support solutions. Our customer base includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors involved with projects in the Oil & Gas, mining, chemical, power generation and building services industries.
The role includes deriving demand for SIKLA and third party componentry from specifications for future projects.
**The Role**:
- Responsible for delivering smooth product flow to customers and fabrication facility by placing accurate and timely orders
- Adhering to stock value targets
- Developing strong relationships with our OEM supplier pool and Sikla’s HO
- Providing accurate and timely stock analysis
- Planning and developing new processes
- Communicating quality issues/errors with respective supplier
- Ensuring replenishment and purchasing processes’ standards compliance
The role includes a project management element requiring occasional construction site visits to discuss and survey project and customer requirements.
**What’s on offer?**
- The opportunity to be fully involved in interesting and multi-discipline projects
- A competitive remuneration will be offered, based on skills and experience within the range of $70,000 - $90,000
- Full time position based in Perth
**Minimum Skills & Qualifications**
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
- Proficiency with Inventory Management Software (Logomate)
- Strong project support and management skills ensuring that strategic and corporate directives are met
- Excellent time management and ability to ensure that key dates and performance indicators are used to guarantee that targets are met
- Capable of prioritising tasks within multiple assignments
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent customer relationship skills
