ABOUT THE JOB

Newly restructured role working in our Canning Vale Office/Yard reporting to the Purchasing & Stores Manager.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7AM – 5PM

with occasional weekend work or longer days if required to support a project.

This is a hands-on, mixed role involving close collaboration with onsite crews to determine required parts, coordinating procurement, managing daily order picking, ensuring projects/compliance requirements are met safely and on schedule. Also supporting the efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(but not limited to)

  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Issue Purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
  • Actioning emails/system order requests
  • Maintain Accurate Stock Levels and Stock Transfers.
  • Loading/Unloading trucks
  • Forklift operations
  • Coordination of site deliveries
  • Assist in the warehouse when required
  • Packing & wrapping pallets
  • Conduct General Ad Hoc Duties

Full Time employment alongside company funded upskill/development and ability to progress within the friendly team. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Current "C Class" Manual Driver's License (preferred) – Automatic could be considered for the right applicant prior to obtaining Manual.
  • "LF" class High Risk Forklift License & relevant experience
  • Current First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or willing to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
  • Experience in the Drilling Industry - highly regarded (knowledge of drill rigs, equipment, parts etc);
  • Certificate II in Warehouse and Logistics – desirable but not mandatory
  • Currently reside in Western Australia (WA), preferably close to Canning Vale.
ABOUT YOU
  • Physically fit and experienced with lifting 20kgs+ regularly, forklift & other manual labour tasks – Drilling industry background preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong OHS awareness and work ethic
  • Computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
  • Exposure to MYOB, DAMSTRA and MEX software platforms highly regarded.
  • Ability to follow instructions/procedures and take direction
  • Ability to work both unsupervised and/or as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment;
  • Committed team player; Brining a positive, "can do" attitude to the workplace every day
  • High level of attention to detail, Able to think strategically and problem solve.
