SEO Assistant

**About the role**

We are on the hunt for an SEO assistant, looking to develop their skills and forge a career in our SEO division. You will work alongside senior team members in developing and implementing innovative SEO strategies, as well as bringing your own ideas to the fold.

You - a highly motivated individual that's passionate about organic visibility and all things search.

Accountability, high attention to detail, and the ability to be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in writing, will be highly regarded.

1 year experience in SEO is highly desireable, but not essential.

**What will the role entail?**
- Development and implementation of SEO strategies
- On-page optimisation including, but not limited to; keyword research, content development, meta tags, internal linking, image ALT tags, H1's, H2's, and more
- Briefing and liaising with content writers to roll out content strategy
- Website auditing and developing actions plans for technical teams
- Link building strategy and implementation
- Contributing new ideas to improve our SEO effectiveness
- Competitor analysis to identify opportunities we can leverage for clients
- The opportunity to use initiative, and work both autonomously, and as part of a tight-knit team.

Skills and experience:

- Understanding of basic SEO tasks such as content, keyword optimisation, link building and more.
- Understanding of Google Analytics (and GA4), Search Console, and Google My Business
- Experience with key SEO tools such as SEMrush, AHREFS, Screaming Frog
- Experience in using tools such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs & Excel
- Eagerness to learn - but also display high levels of initiative.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage several projects and stakeholders.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
