
Marketing & Ecosystem Growth Manager

Mission of Position
The Marketing and Ecosystem Growth Manager role is designed to elevate both LUNA and Tiger & Bear's presence in the Startup, Venture Capital ecosystem and technology ecosystem, making it the go-to service provider for the industry. In this position you will be responsible for driving effective marketing initiatives through partnerships, events and digital communications and campaigns. You will also assist in building each brand through awareness and engagement in order to uplift market presence. This role is pivotal in forging and building a vibrant community around our brand.
Responsibilities
Partnership Development and Management
- Identify, manage and develop new and existing strategic partnerships with like-minded brands, organisations, and influencers in the startup and VC ecosystem.
- Collaborate with teams to execute partnership initiatives effectively - including organisation, design and copy.
- Cultivate relationships with potential partners.
- Leverage partnerships to amplify our reach and new business pipeline development
Brand Activations | Event Planning and Management
- Manage, organise and execute events, both online and offline, to drive connection with community and key partners.
- Manage events end-to-end including logistics, venue selection, budgeting, and coordination of speakers, attendees and sponsors and campaign assets for go live.
- Evaluate event success and provide insights for future improvements.
- Leverage new tech tools to enhance the event attendee experience both on and offline.
- Conduct outreach to attendees to gather any information required, including pulse surveys and post-event surveys.
- Connect brand activations and events into sales pipeline .
Digital Marketing Management
- Run the LUNA Lowdown (the LUNA newsletter), contribute to the Tiger & Bear newsletter, and other client engagement communications and mailing lists
- Manage and optimise a suite of digital marketing tools and platforms such as website, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO initiatives, social media management - Meta/LinkedIn, email marketing and content management.
- Proactively identify and implement new digital strategies to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Create compelling marketing materials to support partnership initiatives, activations and events. Design, invites, copywriting and amplification through omnichannel.
- Manage promotional activities and campaigns to drive awareness and engagement within the community.
Community Engagement
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and grow our community across various platforms, including digital, social, forums, and events.
- Foster meaningful interactions with community and ecosystem members to build loyalty and advocacy.
- Monitor community feedback and sentiments, and provide timely responses and support.
- Manage online communities (Slack, Meetup and social channels) and support broader LUNA involvement in these communities to strengthen brand depth and reach.
Brand & Marketing Materials
- Be responsible for brand consistency and support the broader team with design, branding and marketing materials.
- Help the team with ad-hoc design and marketing material requests.
Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyse key performance metrics related to partnership initiatives and community building / engagement.
- Prepare regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Use key insights to optimise strategies and improve overall performance for marketing objectives.
Role Requirements
Competencies required to be successful in the role:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on events management and partnership development, preferably within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a variety of events (virtual and in-person) and managing strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record of producing excellent copywriting.
- Experience with digital marketing.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong DIY design skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and proficiency in reporting on marketing ROI.
Role Nice-To-Haves
- Experience working in professional services.
- Experience with automation- code or no-code builds .
- Experience with CRM (Hubspot) and marketing automation platforms.
