**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a patient-focused individual to play a fundamental role in upholding Jones Radiology’s brand promise and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Jones Radiology is pleased to be offering the Medical Typist role as a home-based role. As a Home Typist, you will join a dedicated team led by the Typist Manager and you will be responsible for audio transcribing reports on behalf of the Radiologists across all modalities. This is a full-time, permanent position typically working Monday to Friday. You will also be expected to contribute to a weekend roster approximately once a month and be compensated accordingly.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Audio transcribing reports on behalf of the Radiologist across all modalities; Xray, CT, MRI, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, BMD, Angiography, and Ultrasound.
- Using multiple programs simultaneously and systems navigation.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in typing speed and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience typing in Radiology.
- Fast and accurate medical typing skills (80+ wpm)
- Demonstrated experience using multiple programs simultaneously and systems navigation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent spelling and grammar skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy.
- Visage and Transcription Tool experience are highly desirable although not essential.
- Dedicated home office environment that meets WHS requirements.
