**Requirements**:

- Fluency in both_ _**_English and Mandarin_**. Given that a considerable number of our patients are of Chinese origin and may have limited English proficiency, it is essential to hire a receptionist who can communicate fluently in Mandarin. Applicants lacking fluency in **_Mandarin_** will not be considered.
- Patient and passionate personality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong administrative and computer skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming patients and visitors upon arrival to the practice;
- Answering phones and responding to inquiries;
- Scheduling patient appointments and keeping those appointments on time;
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation;
- Communicating with patients, practitioners, co-workers, etc.;
- Maintaining a clean and calm reception area through general housekeeping;
- Filing and managing patient records;
- Processing billing, payments, and paperwork;
- Liaising with Medicare, medical departments such as Radiology, Pathology, and Medical Specialist offices with professionalism and discretion;
- Performing any other duties assigned by the employer, within the scope of your skills, training, and experience.

**Join us for the following hours**:

- 25 - 35 hours a week, morning shift starting 8am, Monday - Friday (including a paid 1/2 hour lunch break)
