**About the Role**

Dr Jones & Partners are seeking Home Based Medical Typists to join our friendly team.

Reporting to the Typist Manager, you will be an integral part of our business.

As a Home Based Medical Typist you will be responsible for audio transcribing reports on behalf of the Radiologists.

To be successful in this position you will be required to demonstrate the following:

- Minimum 2 years Radiology typing experience
- Fast and accurate medical typing skills (approx. 80 wpm)
- Completion of a recognised Medical Terminology Course preferred
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate initiative
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt and respond to change
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy
- Commitment to continuous improvement in typing speed and accuracy
- Visage experience is highly desirable although not essential.

Home Typists will need a dedicated home office environment that meets WHS requirements. Dr Jones & Partners will reimburse / provide internet service and computer where required.
