**About the role**

Are you looking for a newly created role where you can focus on the delivery side of events, providing our customers with exceptional experiences? Would you like to be the designated 'go-to' person on the day of an event? If this sounds like you, then our Event Delivery Manager role could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Reporting to the Manager - Events Operations, you'll be the main point of contact for customers on event days, providing an exceptional experience whilst also addressing any issues that may arise. We've adopted and embraced an agile way of working across the organisation where you'll be part of project teams (called squads) and be involved in event evaluation, sharing feedback to champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Your additional responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the running of assigned MCEC events, ensuring the highest level of service to customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Meeting and greeting the customer(s), providing them with all the information and materials they require for the day(s) of their event
- Providing feedback and advice during the event planning stage in collaboration with the Service Delivery teams
- Cross checking event plans with customers, including venue set up information

**About You**

You may have a background as an Event Coordinator, a Venue and Events Operations Supervisor or a Function Manager who is comfortable focusing on the delivery of events. You'll be committed to providing the highest levels of customer service whilst adopting a continuous improvement approach to your work.

We're also looking for:

- Proven organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence
- Availability to work varying hours across weekdays and weekends, based upon event requirements
