**About the Role**
This unique role allows you to explore two dynamic attractions As the Assistant Guest Experience Manager at both Madame Tussauds Sydney and WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, you are the driving force behind our amazing team of Guest Experience Hosts and Supervisors.
Supporting the Cluster Operations Manager in ensuring a smooth, safe, and effective daily operation of the Madame Tussauds Sydney & WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Delivering this highest possible standard in Guest Experience, Safety, Operational Excellence, and Team management to deliver memorable experiences to our guests and our teams; through strong communication, teamwork, financial rigor, and the ability to be innovative and fast-moving.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient daily operation of the attractions and departments adhering to Merlin Company Standards.
- Work with all teams to ensure the product is of the highest quality at all times by monitoring, analysing, and improving the guest’s and teams’ experience for continuous improvement.
- Champion the highest level of compliance adhering to Merlin Health, Safety and Security, and financial guidance &Policies, including ownership of emergency procedures/ planning, risk assessments, and HSS & financial audits for the site.
- Actively drive team progression and development, through strong people leadership and development plans
- Work with the Cluster Operations Manager to ensure all attractions costs are in line with agreed budgets and correct Merlin financial processes are followed.
- Liaise with the Cluster Operations Manager on a regular basis to provide open communication about each operational area and to provide consistency across the wider attractions.
- Champion Guest Obsession throughout all aspects of the operation

**About You**
- Experience in a similar operations/leadership role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Strong leadership skills in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong ability to make decision and communicate them effectively.
- Ability to utilise sound judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality is mandatory.
- Requires demonstrated skill in interpersonal relationships, verbal and written communication.
- Must be able to present a professional image to internal and external contacts and build relationships with internal team members.

Celebrities and our animals never stop and we don’t here at our attractions either, this role will work on a rotating roster over 7 days, all year round. Weekend, holidays and public holiday work is a must as a business that operates around peak periods.
