An exciting opportunity for a passionate Production Manager with a leading Australian hardware retailer.

**Your new company**
One of the largest independent Hardware retailers in Australia, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join their Sunshine Coast Frame and Trust division on the Sunshine Coast.

**Your new role**
Reporting into the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation including OH&S, Production, Maintenance, Training and Contractor Management.

Key Functions of the role include:

- Maintain a safe work environment through effective communication and training in the use of OH&S policies, compliance, and regulations
- Leading and managing the manufacturing operation to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives
- Plan productions to meet deadlines, budgetary commitments and within specification
- Manage the maintenance department to ensure both preventative and reactive maintenance is completed to the required standard
- A culture of continuous improvement towards best practice
- Manage personnel to meet production requirements.
- Meet all standards ISO, HACCP, GMP and AIB standards and practices are achieved.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 5 years’ experience in a People Management role
- Experience in working in Manufacturing
- Knowledge of general construction processes and/or experience with timber products such as roof truss and wall frame construction highly regarded
- Experience in Health and Safety Management
- Strong customer services skills
- Excellent Communication skills
