One of Australia's leading food production companies have a new opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their dynamic team in their brand-new facility in the South Sunshine Coast Region.

**Your new role**

As a Production Supervisor you will play a crucial role in leading a team of production staff, monitoring production processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Supervise and coordinate the night shift production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
- Lead, motivate, and train team leaders, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Verify that all production records are completed and correct prior to further distribution.
- Monitor production lines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently with KPI's met and recorded.
- Maintain quality control measures to ensure products exceed industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics and quality assurance, to optimise production processes.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for the production team.
- Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to senior management

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a Production Team Leader or Supervisor within the food production industry.
- Ability to lead and coach team members.
- Knowledge of hygiene, and food safety procedures as well as HACCP principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement principles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Time Management.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
