Senior leadership role with a leading Australian material Manufacturing company on the Sunshine Coast

**Your new company**
A leading Australian Manufacturer of materials for the Transport, Marine and Construction industries, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager based on the Sunshine Coast.

An exciting time to join an innovative and growing organisation, with plans underway for a second production facility coming soon and this role will soon see you responsible for overseeing the production across both sites.

**Your new role**
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation including OH&S, Production, Training and Contractor Management.

Key Functions of the role include:

- Maintain a safe work environment through effective communication and training in the use of OH&S policies, compliance, and regulations
- Leading and managing the manufacturing operation to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives.
- Manage the supply chain from receipt of raw materials to the distribution of the finished product.
- Schedule production to meet deadlines, budgetary commitments and within specification
- A culture of continuous improvement towards best practice.
- Manage personnel to meet production requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Highly experienced in working within a Manufacturing environment.
- Driven, results orientated individual who has managed a comparable team of production specialists.
- Strong problem solving with an ability to adapt and continuously improve.
- Manage and improve efficiency in cross functional activity.
- Effective relationship management.
