**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our team in Sunshine North, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The Production Manager position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and professional leader to partner with their team to implement best practices in business processes and systems in our manufacturing site resulting in “best in class” production solutions. Incorporating LEAN and Continuous Improvement tools and driving quality initiatives, you will support your team to maximise productivity, improve efficiencies and reduce manufacturing costs. Utilising your broad leadership and operations experience gained from pre-fabrication, manufacturing, engineering and/ or construction environments, you will provide technical thought leadership and foster a collaborative working relationship by improving both service delivery and customer satisfaction.

You Will Bring

Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline highly desirable
Minimum 5+ years’ Management experience working in an operations or manufacturing multi-disciplined environment
Solid knowledge and experience in Lean and Six Sigma experience is essential
Strong understanding of modern manufacturing, design, engineering techniques and best practices within repeatable manufacturing environments
A collaborative and results focussed leadership style with the ability to engage and motivate at all levels
Strong people & leadership skill
Progression planning and mentoring of operators, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and operators.
A strategic and analytic approach with superior communication and negotiation skills enabling strong stakeholder engagement
Strong ability to manage and lead the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing site
Lead, manage and deliver change solutions to effectively support transformation
A customer-solutions focussed mindset, with an adaptive and resilient approach to deliver innovative outcomes
Ability to communicate thought leadership, developing and presenting technical content to all stakeholders
A spirit of innovation and continuous improvement with demonstrated experience leading change and driving accountabilities to deliver ‘Operational Excellence’
A passion for process and automation that drives efficiencies, safety and promotes teamwork to strive for excellence
