About the Role

Purpose Accounting is typically engaged by our clients on either an ongoing basis or for project work, leading to a very diverse and interesting role.

For our ongoing clients you will provide services to a portfolio of clients, acting as both an outsourced Chief Financial Officer for SME and large non-profit organisations, and an advisor on financial management strategy. As an outsourced CFO, you will lead the Finance function for clients, managing delivery of a suite of monthly financial services, and supporting in-house Finance Teams.

As a strategic advisor, you will consult at the highest level of management within client organisations, including CEO and Board level. You will develop financial skills for executive stakeholders and provide high-level advice on financial strategy.

We also undergo various project based work from time to time, such as reviews of finance functions and business services; strategic financial forecasting and viability analysis; implementation of new systems; re-design of reporting processes and review of resources / finance personnel / capacity assessments.

About You
- Experience in a strategic advisory or finance leadership capacity, for example at the Financial Controller, Finance Leader, Management Accountant or similar role, with exposure to a variety of industries.
- A passion for the Not-for-Profit space
- Is CPA, CA, or CIMA qualified.

Experience in the not-for-profit space is desirable but not essential.

Experience within a consulting or practice environment, and/or in serving internal customers is also an advantage.
