**The Role**

Provide support and assistance to ensure the effective day to day running of the operations at APRA for both Facilities and Reception.

Coordination of the Facilities Helpdesk, coordinating the outsourcing of repairs and maintenance work, maintaining stock levels for kitchens and utility areas, supervising the issue of security access cards, coordinating external contractors, close liaison with Building Management and other duties associated with the systems and procedures in place for the Facilities Team.

The Facilities Coordinator operates within the Property and Facilities team (PF) within the Enterprise Services Division of APRA. This division is responsible for supporting the achievement of APRA’s corporate strategies, policies, and procedures. This involves the delivery of various services to APRA’s internal clients and external stakeholders utilising both internal and external resources.

**What your typical day will look like**
- Contributing significantly to the smooth operation of the Facilities Team by anticipating and delivering timely and effective service.
- Maintaining up to date and relevant knowledge of the premises and issues affecting the team.
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Supporting the communication on a wide range of policies, procedures, guidelines, and norms.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of Sydney Reception to ensure responsibilities are carried out in an effective and professional manner.
- Addressing issues as they arise and when required, bringing to the attention of the Office Manager.

**About you**
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with contributing to running the operations of an office.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite and data processing skills.
- Strong sense of initiative to be able to identify areas of administrative improvement and take ownership of processes.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- High level attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Experience and/or knowledge of office maintenance and repairs would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards would be advantageous.
- Experience in project administration would be advantageous
