**The Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Office Coordinator who enjoys being front of house while interacting with our internal clients and external stakeholders within a professional environment. This role is to act as the first point of contact for guests to APRA and with all matters relating to reception.
**The Team**
The Office Coordinator operates within the Property and Facilities team (PF) within the Enterprise Services Division of APRA. This division is responsible for supporting the achievement of APRA’s corporate strategies, policies, and procedures.
**What your typical day will look like**:
- Managing the reception while supporting the day-to-day operations of Sydney Facilities team.
- Meet and greet visitors and inform the relevant clients
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and freight services
- Assist with the on-boarding of new-starters.
- Support the Facilities team with a range of administration and coordination of activities
- Assist and support the Facilities team in dealing with issues relating to the maintenance and communication of facilities and property matters
- ADHOC invoicing, data entry, stock ordering and distribution and performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Facilities team
- Be the initial contact point for less complex facilities enquiries and assist in the effective dissemination of administrative information.
**About you**:
- Experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or reception role
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and comfortable working independently
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Sense of initiative to be able to identify areas of administrative improvement and take ownership of processes
