Key Sydney CBD based client looking for an IT Business Partner to focus on SAP FI/CO functionality

**The Company**

Are you looking for a challenging position with an industry leader and strong career growth opportunity? If so, this exciting position may be for you Our client is the world's top producer and marketer of high-performance fibre cement and fibre gypsum building solutions.

The business are an SAP shop and are going through a technology uplift from ECC6 to EhP8, while looking at HANA in the foreseeable future. Modules are in financials and some in manufacturing.

Your role will be to focus on SAP FI/CO

**The Role**

Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment where every day is different? In this dynamic role you will support the business' technology uplift by helping the business optimize its SAP FI/CO systems.

You will be responsible for helping the business understand the gaps in existing systems, while working collaboratively with global stakeholders to support end to end solution design.

**Your Skills & Experience**

You will play a key role in partnering with the business to gather requirements to provide SAP FI/CO functionality.

You must be strong on both FI and CO modules. That is:

- ** FI -** GL, AR, AP, Capex, Depreciation and Billing
- ** CO-** Ordering and Invoicing

Your key role will be to act as the key conduit between the vendors/internal technical teams and business to understand changes and issues in the financial systems. You will need to interact and partner with the business to understand requirements, conduct impact analysis and resolve production issues.

Your role will comprise of projects, new enhancements and BAU. Key projects include decommissioning legacy systems and revamping their EDW and Data Lake and moving it into HANA.

This is not a technical role, but you will be expected to do basic configuration of the SAP FICO modules. Your key stakeholders form the business will be Financial Controllers, Pricing teams, Expense Management teams and Commercial Analysts.
