**Your new company**

In this 9-month contract you will be working for a Federal Government agency who are based in Sydney CBD. You will have the flexibility to work from home, with one day per week in the office. You will be paid an attractive daily rate of $550 p/d + super

**Your new role**
- Partner with leaders to effectively manage people related programs, providing guidance on change practices and engagement activities
- Support all people and culture processes and operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits management, and employee offboarding.
- Serve as the point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and advice to managers on employee performance, performance improvement plans disciplinary matters and conflict resolution
- Take responsibility for HR information system (HRIS) management and related tools, including to gather and analyse people metrics.
- Maintain a focus on EVP and take responsibility for related programs
- Conduct job analysis, develop job descriptions, and undertake job evaluations as required, in conjunction with the managers and the people and culture team.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, with proven experience as a HR Business Partner.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels to advise and drive positive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Professional certifications (e.g., SHL, Mercer) are beneficial but not required
