**The Role**
The Assistant Director Coordination (ADCoord) leads the arm of International Engagement-Air Force that is responsible for governance, finance and personnel coordination in support of IE-AF operations. ADGOV supports the Director International Engagement-Air Force in managing and supporting outcomes of the Air Force International Engagement Plan.

Duties of the position include:

- Coordinating and developing input into Air Force senior committees.
- Coordinating correspondence, finance, travel and administration.
- Oversee the management of Air Force overseas positions, exchanges, and training.
- Oversee the management of training delivered to foreign military personnel.
- Oversee the management of Air Force visits into and out of Australia, conducted in the pursuit of Air Force international engagement outcomes.
- Liaison with other Defence agencies to coordinate Air Force engagement with military attaches.
- Oversee coordination and provision of protocol for delegations visiting Australia.
- Management of information and data for the Directorate ensuring synchronisation across Defence.
- Ensure workplace environmental and safety portfolios are managed.

The Directorate of International Engagement-Air Force (IE-AF) is a highly visible, strategically important, impactful and dynamic working environment - from briefing senior leaders on strategic bilateral engagements to planning and attending the Air Force’s premier multilateral engagements - the work is as diverse as the countries we engage with.

The Directorate manages Air Force to Air Force relationships across more than 20 countries, supporting the Air Force senior leaders through a range of senior level engagements. In addition to supporting the overseas engagements of our Senior Leadership, IE-AF is also responsible for overseas positions and training for both Air Force personnel overseas and foreign military training in Australia.
