Head of Transformation

ING, Australia’s most recommended bank is on the hunt for an experienced **Head of Transformation** who’ll play a fundamental role in the future of ING leading the transformation office and being accountable for the coordination and oversight of change delivery at ING Australia.

You’ll oversee the execution of the ING Australia strategy, tracking the progress of the execution against the strategic objectives and working with the Executive Committee to ensure the annual and forward view of investment is shaped to achieve the objectives. You’ll also be accountable for the planning and prioritization processes, allocating transformation resources, and effective management of projects, including the adoption of agile methodologies.

You’ll be the critical piece when it comes to working with the executive and senior leaders to help ensure alignment between the organisations strategy and change delivery capabilities.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Providing leadership and direction to the Transformation Office team
- Providing strategic oversight, quality assurance/control and guidance across the delivery portfolio to ensure initiatives deliver successfully
- Undertaking regular strategic planning including monitoring progress with the Delivery & Transformation leadership team to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Facilitating portfolio prioritisation process (annual and quarterly)
- Ensuring alignment of Transformation objectives with those of Global and Local Strategies
- Coordinating and facilitating plans to maintain and improve the engagement and capability development of the team
- Supporting the benchmarking and analysis to compare and identify areas for improvement within project management process and the external market e.g. Quality Assurance / Controls / Benefit realisation and tracking
- Supporting Tribes & COE’s with project planning and both local and global reporting requirements including strategic, milestone and financial reporting
- Supporting Tribes in the management of Partner / Vendor contracts & commercials e.g. RFP’s, SOW’s, Contract Management

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Experience in managing a Transformation / Program Management Office
- 10+ years Project Management experience, Finance or Tech background preferred (i.e. project management, project planning, resource and workforce planning, strategic planning, action planning, compliance management and data collection and analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organisation
- Proficiency in building relationships, well developed interpersonal skills, and proven team development skills
- Experience in development and implementation of change management and communication plans is ideal
- Strong understanding of Financial Industry
