**The Opportunity**:
As Inventory/Purchasing Officer, your role is integral to team and overall branch performance.
- Specific responsibilities will include:_
- Stock control, ensuring that stock is maintained at the required levels and aged stock is managed
- Working closely with the Warehouse and Sales teams, and liaising with suppliers daily
- Generating reports using company software packages and Excel
- Reconciling POs with invoices, including the resolution of invoice discrepancies
- Processing return merchandise authorisations (RMAs)
- Chasing deliveries and managing ETAs
- Other ad-hoc duties around the branch as required

Full-time permanent position based in Bowen Hills. Free parking on site.

**About You**:

- Prior experience in purchasing and stock control
- A willingness to combine inventory/purchasing duties with customer service
- Experienced in the wholesale and distribution industry (desirable)
- Excellent multi-tasker with discipline and a high attention to detail
- An exceptional communicator
- Sound problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Full Australian working rights
