An exciting opportunity to join Unison as a **Planning Analyst** to join our Planning team in a **part-time capacity** on a **fixed-term 9-month contract**.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support our merchandise planning function while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic retail environment.

As a **Planning Analyst**, you will be responsible for managing product allocations and coordinating stock movements to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.

**THE ROLE**:

- Build and maintain seasonal allocation grids by department or class
- Allocate stock based on order quantities, sales performance, and weeks of cover
- Set and maintain min/max stock levels for required styles
- Manage allocations for new store openings, closures, and refits
- Coordinate stock consolidations, liaising with planners, state managers and warehouse teams
- Regularly review warehouse stock to ensure efficient flow and minimise idle inventory
- Analyse sales and stock at department, style, store, and state levels
- Deliver weekly product performance reports, including visual recaps
- Prepare monthly and quarterly planning reports (PSRs)
- Perform colour and size analysis to inform allocation decisions
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness across all reporting outputs
- Create and maintain markdowns and promotional pricing as advised by Merchandise Planners
- Manage accurate implementation of repricing across all channels
- Support communication of stock recalls and faulty product write-offs
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and planning sessions
- On-site role 3-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Fashion, or relevant discipline (or equivalent retail experience)
- Entry-level experience or exposure to retail, stock planning or supply chain advantageous
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (filters, VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving ability
- Time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident communicator and collaborative team player
