About Us

Group IT provides technology strategy, governance, delivery, and support for all of Toll. The team enable Toll with the right technology foundations and business systems to grow the business and support our customer needs.

Toll IT Services (ITS) in partnership with the Divisional Information Technology (IT) functions will make a significant contribution to the Toll business and IT agenda, as well as support financial and tangible benefit objectives, and other non-financial goals such as positive teamwork, health & safety, and Toll’s Culture.

The Role

Toll Group is seeking a skilled an experienced IT Demand and Planning Analyst to join our team in Melbourne.

The IT Demand and Planning Analyst is responsible for engaging business stakeholders at various levels of the organisation to understand business requirements and processes using effective analytical, communication, organisation skills and assisting with developing strategies to implement business change with project timeframes.

As the IT Demand and Planning Analyst you will:

- Coordinate RFQs with senior stakeholders and elicit business and IT requirements through interviews and collaboration.
- Define in-scope services and conduct baseline assessments to identify performance benchmarks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop business cases and create transition and change plans to support decision-making and smooth implementation.
- Maintain and analyse technical data, assess technical debt, and evaluate end-of-life systems for strategic planning.
- Track portfolio performance, collaborate on risk mitigation strategies, and support governance through reporting tools.
- Forecast and allocate delivery capacity, support demand planning, and facilitate lessons learned sessions

What We’re Looking For

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline. A Masters will be well regarded.

Skills and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with proven ability to perform, including IT pre-sales planning and documentation.
- Strong skills in data analysis (Excel, PowerBI) and presentation (PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated success managing commercial and technical engagements with hardware vendors and systems integrators, including outsourced IT providers.
- Experience in planning and conducting workshops to translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose solutions, with desirable knowledge of IT infrastructure and end user compute.
- Displays commercial acumen, strategic thinking, customer focus, effective communication, and ethical behaviour.
- Builds partnerships, applies broad business perspective, makes effective decisions, and is a motivated, results-driven self-starter.
