What does a Planning Analyst DO?

**THE ROLE**:

- Responsible for the management of all merchandise stocks following the Right Stock, Right Place & Right time strategy.
- Review sales trends and manage replenishment according to store requirements.
- Responsible for all allocations and stock pool processes to achieve sales and stock targets.
- Analysis of Store and eCommerce product performance by category
- Quarterly set and adjust store grading and stock pools according to performance and space.
- Assist with ensuring available stocks of all ranged products to maximise sales.
- Assist with core line forecasting and purchase recommendations.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and post seasonal business reporting.
- Provide recommendations for price change and promotions to achieve stock turn.
- Assist merchandise planners with product analysis and recommendations where required.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL**:

- Previous Retail Allocation Experience (at least 2 years) in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to develop and inspire teams to be their best every day
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to commercialise data for trade actions
- Willingness to adapt with change and passionate about efficiency improvements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- RMS experience is an advantage
