You will be a part of a close-knit, specialist team of experts who value a shared mission. With a global network of staff, you will be working closely with teams across the USA and Asia, as well as directly with the Supply Chain across Melbourne and Sydney.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join the Supply Chain team and obtain quotes, place and follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery of shipments across the areas of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.

Key accountabilities include:

- Creating and expediting purchase orders.
- Reviewing purchase order invoices from various suppliers.
- Updating vendors on order status, delivery schedule and payment information.
- Maintain and update inventory in line with orders and deliveries.
- Optimise performance through financial reviews, customer satisfaction surveys and feedback.
- Practice continuous improvement by liaising with external logistics providers to optimise shipments and order processing.

**About You**
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Understanding of transport and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems required, SAP highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of buying/purchasing principles.
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics or related field highly desirable.
