**Position Description - ** Buyer
Reporting to the Senior Buyer/Planner you will be responsible for supporting and assisting in inventory management and monitoring of stock performance throughout the omni channel business; reporting, transfers, reorders, & placing indent orders to achieve optimum profit, margin and sales growth across the exterior brands and in house label.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Buyer/Planner to ensure trade is optimised
- Raising purchase orders - Weekly/daily reorders for core and indent products in season.
- Liaising and managing relationships with external suppliers in relation to reorders and stock inventory
- Working across the critical path-ensuring product is on schedule.
- Reporting and analysis - conducted daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally and annually; reports to provide recommendations for proactive or corrective actions to improve gross profit
- Liaising with external suppliers managing stock flow and reacting quickly to key styles so as not to miss out on any opportunities
- Working with the Senior Buyer/planner to create product design briefs for the product development team based on reporting and analysis
- Working with the Senior Buyer to create collab ranges with exterior suppliers to broaden the scope of product offered in exclusive White & Co product.
- Developing & focusing on areas for growth (plus size)
- Ensure all product imagery and relevant product information is received asap by the ecommerce team
- Overseeing daily stock transfers between the omni-channel business for online and bricks & mortar store
- Analyse and review the performance of brands and products, to make sure that sufficient stock is available and there aren’t any missed opportunities
- Range assortment planning
- Reporting and analysis - conducted daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally and annually; reports to provide recommendations for proactive or corrective actions to improve gross profit
- Liaising with Head Office, retail and warehouse teams to solicit feedback on product ranges and customer preferences

Experience
- Minimum 5 year’s experience as a Buyer in the fashion industry
- Tertiary qualification in fashion design, planning or buying.
- Excellent attention to detail & analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel & Microsoft Office
- Clear understanding of the retail landscape and online/instore shopping experience
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Prior experience with ecommerce platform Shopify is preferred
- Photoshop/Illustrator skills advantageous
- Experience in the Plus/Curve fashion industry is advantageous

**Salary**: $80.00 - $110.00 per year
