
Subcontractor Compliance Manager

**About the role**
An exciting newly created opportunity for a Subcontract Compliance Manager (Transport) to join our growing Transport team.
Reporting to the National Transport Manager, you will be responsible for managing the strategic partnerships of all DP World group transport subcontractors. This role will manage subcontractor onboarding, performance and road compliance requirements. This role will ensure any subcontractor engaged by DP World is presented to the group with required safety and compliance standards met.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Manage the onboarding of all transport subcontractors ensuring they comply with all requirements prior to engagement
- Develop and regularly review the company's policies, procedures and systems, ensuring that all operational guidelines are up-to-date, effective and fully aligned with current laws and industry standards
- Key contact internally and externally for all transport subcontractor engagements by DP World
- Complete compliance audits required for DPW transport subcontractors
- Investigation of any non-conformance records and management of resolution
- Lead regular reviews of subcontractor Safety, Service and Financial performance.
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a Transport Related role with a strong understanding on Chain of Responsibility and contractor management
- Completed road compliance audits covering all regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of NHVAS, HVNL and other transport legislations
- Engaged external contractors of a transport operation
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partiesProven problem-solving skills
